Drywall can be damaged by plumbing or electrical access, removed fixtures, impact, previous installations, or everyday wear. The appropriate repair method depends on the size and location of the damage and the condition of the surrounding wall or ceiling.
We review the damaged area before determining the repair approach. Loose or damaged material is addressed as needed, the opening is patched and reinforced where appropriate, and joint compound is applied in stages to create a smooth transition into the surrounding surface.
After the repair has dried, the area is sanded and prepared for the agreed finish. Texture matching, priming, and painting can also be included depending on the project.
