Murphy beds are more involved than standard furniture because the bed structure, lifting mechanism, cabinet components, and wall attachment all work together as a system.
Accurate assembly and secure installation are important for smooth operation and proper alignment.
Before installation, we review the Murphy bed model, manufacturer requirements, room dimensions, wall construction, baseboards, and intended position. Components are assembled in the proper sequence, and the unit is positioned and securely attached according to the applicable mounting requirements.
After installation, the bed mechanism is operated through its normal range, and doors, panels, supports, and other adjustable components are checked. Any modifications to baseboards, trim, or the surrounding area that are needed for the installation can be discussed as part of the project.
