Under-sink filtration systems vary from compact single-stage filters to larger multi-stage systems with dedicated faucets and storage tanks. Cabinet space, existing plumbing, faucet requirements, and service access should all be considered before installation.
We review the filtration system, available space below the sink, existing cold-water connection, and required components before work begins. The system is mounted or positioned according to its design and connected to the compatible existing plumbing.
If the system requires a dedicated faucet, countertop or sink-deck requirements are reviewed before drilling or modification. Once installed, the system is prepared according to the applicable setup instructions and accessible connections are checked for visible leaks.
